ViChewReality
VirCHEW Reality investigates on-face kinesthetic feedback for enhancing food-intake experiences in virtual reality. The project explores how wearable pneumatic actuation around the face can simulate chewing-related sensations, helping virtual food interactions feel more embodied and realistic.
By linking visual food experiences with synchronized facial haptic feedback, the system contributes to a broader design space for multisensory VR, including virtual dining, food education, entertainment, and remote experience sharing.
